The year is 1948 and the place is down in a cellar somewhere in Småland's deep forests ... Here we find a man who thought that there was not enough work for the young people in the area. He decides to start Ås Mekaniska Verkstad AB.

A lot has happened since we started our business in 1948. With unique industry knowledge in the plastics industry together with our habit of focusing on high quality assurance, we have become a reliable supplier. We are happy about that, but never happy with it.

Getting better all the time drives us forward. THE NICHE MAKES US EXPERTS Maintaining our niche is important to us because that is where we are experts. We at Pamex have developed into a modern industry that, through continuous new investments, is always ready for the customer's requirements.

We have developed our own concept that supports our customers to manufacture and deliver a safe product.

Pamex today delivers to several different product areas such as plumbing, garden & forestry, shop fittings, automotive industry etc. Our mission is to make clients happy with their end products that will be known for Swedish-made quality with high environmental requirements.

Pamex is located in southern Sweden, in the Gnosjö area where entrepreneurship flows. The company, which started in 1948 and was one of the first plastic industries in the area, is a purely family business with reliable and responsible Smålanders with a sense of economy. We at Pamex have developed over time into a modern industry that, through continuous new investments, is always ready for the customer's requirements.

Something that never changes at Pamex are the values we stand for, ie the right quality, delivery security, reliability and above all a good collaboration with our customers.

Our biggest strenght is to find practical solutions for injection molding plastic products. We can do this if we solve production problems together with our customers from the beginning. Then the end product is also produced with the right economy to the right quality. This is how we have worked since the start and we intend to continue.

The machine park is modern with injection molds where the capacity is between 20-200 tons, and a highly automated robot handling that picks and packs details. We also have a long-term collaboration in both construction and design. Among all the customers who have given us the trust over the years, we can mention Ikea, Cylinda and Saab-Scania. A large part of our production goes to foreign customers.
